Rituals
The religious lives of many Hindus is manly focused on devoting their lives to God, be Brahman, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva or other Gods. The devotion usually takes form of rituals and practices in home temples or other places of worship.
DeathDeath is a critical moment in the life of a Hindu, not only because it marks the end of ones life but also marks the transition to the next life, therefore the funeral rites are among the most important rituals in Hinduism. It is important the ritual is done correctly, not only the cremation but also the preparation of the body and purification of the surviving family otherwise the deceased may become 'stuck' between this life and the next and remain in the world as a ghost to haunt the surviving relatives.
